2D Investments

2D investments was founded by Doug Earthman as a streamlined vehicle to generate wealth through real estate investment. Mickey Bernstein joined him as partner in 2022. Historically, three main barriers have prevented investors from gaining exposure to real estate: large capital requirements, risk, and complexity. Our mission is to break down these barriers for our investors, and provide them a simplified avenue to gain exposure to the real estate sector.

Doug and Mickey utilize their abundant resources and nationwide relationships to identify low-risk, high-earning opportunities in high growth areas across the country. In today’s uncertain economic climate, portfolio diversification is paramount when it comes to consistent gains combined with security, and real estate is the ideal diversification tool. Drew Lovell

Co-Founder / Managing Partner

Drew Lovell is a Managing Partner with 2D Investments. Drew received his undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi, and is a 17 year veteran of the US Army. His time in the military provided him with invaluable experience in a multitude of disciplines, and instilled in him the value of hard work and attention to detail in all aspects of his life. Drew has served as infantryman and sniper, but ultimately landed in a special operations unit focused on intelligence collection. To his core, Drew is a problem solver, and is a vital asset to the 2D Investments Operations Team.

Doug Earthman

Founder / Managing Partner

Doug Earthman is a Managing Partner and Founder of 2D Investments. Doug received his Geological Engineering degree from the University of Mississippi, and has served as a Project Engineer and Business Development Specialist since 2011. His experience with environmental and geotechnical due diligence for ground-up development projects has equipped him with a unique perspective and understanding of the Commercial Real Estate industry which allows him to oversee and facilitate all aspects of each project to completion. If Doug has spare time, he spends it with his wife and two children, or training for triathlons in which he competes internationally. Doug’s unwavering demand for quality and efficiency is substantiated by his accomplishments as a business development manager, and is the driving force behind his leadership of 2D Investments.

 

Mickey Bernstein

Managing Partner

Dr. Mickey Bernstein has recently retired as a Cosmetic Dentist after 40 years in Germantown, Tennessee. He built a very successful group practice and career as an Accredited Member and 2009 President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has received the honor of Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, the American College of Dentists, and the International College of Dentists, and is an Alumnus of the L. D. Pankey Institute.

He attended White Station High School in Memphis, TN, The University of Oklahoma, the University of Memphis, and the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry.
He is excited to join 2D Investments as a partner where he will apply his 30 years of experience in real estate investing and development, business consulting, and utilize his background in Strategic Planning.

Mickey has a special interest in learning what motivates people to help them achieve their full potential and personal goals. He has worked for 18 years with Bernstein Consulting, helping dental practices, businesses, and organizations achieve their dreams. He spends his remaining time with his wife, Diane, 7 children and 14 grandchildren and fitness activities.
